Ryan and I hopped into our car and headed up the California coast to celebrate 5 wonderful year together. We had never seen this part of CA and fell in love with it! Driving on the PCH showed us just how breath-taking the coastline is to see. We drove to Morro Bay, Hearst Castle, Cambria, and Big Sur. We did the 17 mile drive in Carmel and the Monterey Aquarium. We drove through Oakland to the Napa Valley for wine tasting. Our trip was relaxing and fun; we saw the best of our state and the worst. (Driving home was ugly! Seriously, it was flat, dusty, and brown for six hours. :) ) If you ever have the chance to drive up the coast you must do it!! Ryan and I came away from the trip with many memories and a realization that we have to take our children to see all of the great wonders in CA. (ok, we don't know when that will be but it's out goal)

What a great time it looked like you both had. I would love a trip away rt. about now. By the way has Ryan lost weight? He looks skinny.
Why yes he has! I will pass that comment on to him! :) Why not come to CA this summer? :)
I wish we could come out but airfare is outrageous. I am bummed as we want to come out so bad. If gas was not so stinking expensive. ERR!!! Are you going anywhere this summer?
